“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you (1 Thessalonians 5:18).” In a time when it could be easy to complain, we truly have so much to be thankful for! As we celebrate this Thanksgiving holiday, I thought I would list ten things that I am thankful for:
Being forgiven by Christ
Being a child of God
Being in good health
Being certain of my eternal home
Having all my needs met
Having a God who loves me unconditionally
Having the Word of God in my language
Being reared in a Christian home
Being called to missions
Having a beautiful, godly wife and cute kids
God has been so good to us as we are out on the road full time. We have more to be thankful for than is listed above! We have been to some great churches, and we are now at 17% of our support. Thank you for your prayers and support for our family and the field of Hungary. I trust that Thanksgiving will remind you to pause and reflect on the goodness of God. We are living in uncertain times, but Jesus is still on the throne! He is still good. He still loves the world, and He deserves our thanks.
